You are looking at another
one of our wonderful NEW
OLD STOCK items. This is the famous ROCKMAN
GUITAR COMPRESSOR by the talented Tom Scholz of the rock band
BOSTON. His company was called Scholz Research & Development
of Waltham, Massachusetts. This particular COMPRESSOR,
Serial Number GC001662, was manufactured January 18, 1990. The
ROCKMAN GUITAR COMPRESSOR is a special favorite of guitar players
because of its very desirable ANALOG circuitry and
also because it was designed expressly for the electric guitar... a
winning combination for tone-hungry guitarists!
Our ROCKMAN GUITAR COMPRESSOR is
in very nice condition, almost the same as when it left the factory
13 years ago. The box and foam packing are in good shape. The
Operating Manual is excellent. And even the little stick-on 'feet'
for 'desk-top' operation are unused and included. There are two
small scuff marks on the top of this unit... the result of removal
from a display rack and a little scratch on the front panel to the
left of the Sustain control. I would rate this an 8 out of 10.
The ROCKMAN
GUITAR COMPRESSOR is the ONLY one designed
specifically to sustainnnn notes. It was originally invented
by Tom for his own use in recording and concert work when he found
nothing else could do the job. The patented circuitry handles
the difficult guitar signal envelope like no other compressor/limiter. This
unit also has very low noise because of its special anti-noise feature.
