You are looking at our NEW OLD STOCK vintage hybrid digital/ analog Roland GR-700 Guitar Synthesizer... This is one of the first synthesizers offered to allow guitarists to enter the world of unique sounds previously only available to keyboard players.  We, M.E.S. Music Equipment Sales Ltd ., as an authorized Roland Dealer at the time, purchased this GR-700 new in July 1984.  It has never been sold. Included are the original Owner's Manual Vers.1, 24 pin locking Interface Cable (guitar to synth module), Roland M16-C Memory Cartridge with GR-700 Sample Sounds, two Roland Audio Cables and the Roland AC cable.  These items are all sealed in the original factory plastic. Also included is the original Roland carton and foam packing.  When we unpacked this unit, it was still wrapped in its' factory plastic.  Our GR-700 is in very nice condition.  I would rate this unit a 9.5 of 10.

The GR-700 synthesizer engine is identical to the Roland JX-3P.  Although you can edit sounds via the on-board pedals, the Roland PG-200 programmer makes editing much more convenient.  AND, ...any Roland G Series Synthesizer Guitar Controller is a MUST to use the GR-700.

• Selectable Dynamic Control Over Pitch, Filter and Amplifier each String
• Selectable Pitch Bend, Hold and Voice On/Off each String

• Stereo Output: XLR or .25" jacks
• Pedal control input for the VCF
• Output: guitar, or synth, or mix
• Programming via on board foot switches or the optional PG-200 Programmer
